Medea Lily in particular cleanses debuffs before she heals with her NP, and along with her NP Charing, she completely bypasses many of Caster of Limbo's mechanics. Medea Lily, Merlin, Mash, Waver, Jeanne, Hans, etc.By not using Order Change, Masters can field the Atlas Academy Uniform to help their sustain and cleanse his debuffs (ideally his NP Damage Down debuff as well).

Musashi performs decently here, but Masters can still elect to Order Change her to the back if they intend to field Caster or Rider options here.(teamwide) Evasion and Invincibility are still very effective. Caster of Limbo's NP isn't as deadly as a Servant NP, and Master are able to recover from it with Healing. As such, Flat Damage Reduction Defense buffs are highly effective, especially in combination with Healing and normal Defense buffs. For Survival, Caster of Limbo does not hit particularly hard (1500-1800) per hit, unless he applies multiple Defense Down debuffs.Starting NP Gauge CE and NP Charging are also highly effective at bypassing manual NP Charging.Alternatively, Masters can deploy NP Gain buffs of their own to try and cancel out the debuffs.Due to all both the long-lasting and constant application of NP Gain Down debuffs, Debuff Cleansing, Debuff Immunity and Debuff Resistance, are all highly useful on turns with an ideal card draw to gain NP.It does help to have NP Charging capability though. Support Servants/Casters can also completely outsustain his damage, even if he applies his Healing Reduction debuffs.Naturally, (Single Target) Rider Servants are extremely effective at mowing down Caster of Limbo, especially as their class advantage greatly reduces incoming damage.Masters who will stick to Knight-class Servants will have have a very difficult fight ahead. For Masters who will not adhere to the Knight-class bonus bond point condition, this boss fight is of medium difficulty. As its attack are AoE, Taunts are incredibly weak and ineffective. On Break, Caster of Limbo inflicts a heavy 5-turn NP Damage Down on the team.
